Heidi Coleman – Head Of Finance
Heidi looks after the financial health of Being Mentors, making sure funding is managed carefully so it reaches where it matters most, our participant supports. With 5 years of experienced and her own lived experience, Heidi not only advocates for the rights and care of our participants she also brings clarity and rigour to planning, compliance and NDIS funding management.
Denver Fresser – CEO
Denver leads Being Mentors with a simple conviction: every person deserves the opportunity to live a life of their own choosing. With 15+ years across disability services and the community sector, Denver has grown Being Mentors into an NDIS-registered provider supporting participants in all parts around Australia.
Tamika McPhee – Executive General Manager
Tamika oversees service delivery across the country, working closely with participants, families, support coordinators and our care teams to make sure supports genuinely fit the person. With a background in Law, Tamika is known for attention to detail and advocating for the rights of our participants.
Jessica Bull – Head of Allied Health
Jessica leads Being Mentors’ allied health team, bringing psychology, physiotherapy and positive behaviour support together. A qualified Physiotherapist with 15 years of clinical experience, Jessica is committed to evidence-based practice that stays warm, respectful and person-centred.
Tyson Kulari – COO
Tyson makes sure the day-to-day of Being Mentors runs the way it should. Ensuring reliable supports, expertly-matched mentors, and teams who feel backed. Drawing on his experience delivering national inclusion programs and his own lived experience, Tyson focuses on building systems that keep quality consistent as the organisation grows.
Nicolas Pond – Executive General Manager
Nic leads our Growth and Operations, supporting our local Mentors to deliver support that helps participants build skills, confidence and independence. With over five years in the field as a direct carer, Nicolas brings a practical, outcomes-focused approach to growing services without losing the personal touch.

Founded by a close group of friends in Darwin, Being Mentors is a support work, guidance & mentoring business that provides care, assistance and mentoring to people of all ages and abilities.
