Don't just take our word for it

Testimonials

“It has taken us a long time to find the right service. I feel I have an open relationship where we can speak, Our Mentor is always so responsive. We had some terrible providers which made me so disheartened. I feel so reassured, and I know they (Being Mentors) have the skills to assist my child. They have changed our world. They are a lifesaver for our family.”

“Been really successful and he (participant) has come so far. He now goes willingly. There has always been a separation problem, but he knows them (Being Mentors) and has the best time. His social skills have come a long way. They do a really good job and keep him engaged. Independence and social skills are definitely improved. Very meaningful skills that can be transitioned to everyday life.”

“Our mentor Liam is very talented, we noticed that practices things that other carers with other organisations don’t usually do, for example teaching him to read and understands maps! We are really enjoying our care with Being Mentors.”

Taylor Smith,
Ambassador

“I’ve been lucky enough to join Being Mentors as an Ambassador, having the opportunity to work within my community spreading awareness and mentoring participants with the aim of improving their day-to-day life and skills. This particular job is important to me as I believe that no matter ones ability, everyone should have access to actively participate within their community and achieve their goals. These might be simple things such as doing the groceries or applying for a job. Personally, as an athlete, finding work that fits in to my busy schedule can be difficult, however, the flexibility that Being Mentors provides, has eliminated the stress of having to balance a sport and work.”
